What do we do with a 6 year old boy, 3 year old boy and 7 month old girl for 4 days!?!?!?
My boyfriend agreed to watch his sisters’ kids from Saturday to Wednesday while she and her husband are gone on business. Obviously he cannot take care of 3 kids on his own so he wanted me to help him out, which is a good idea because we’re set to get married this next summer and I will be able to see how he deals with the stress of kids and what kind of father he’ll be. Anyway what do I do with them?!?!? Neither of our houses are child friendly, we both have huge sets of stairs, we have no child like things to do (unless they want to play with my beer tap, just kidding), no toys, no games, no nothing! Today we went to the store and bought kid like food, I guess but that’s it. His sister said she’d bring some toys and stuff for them to do but….I’m nervous. Neither he nor I have ever dealt with children before for such a long period of time.
Also just wondering if this would be a horrible thing to do, I own a bar/nightclub and on Monday my boyfriend has a company meeting he has to do to but I have to go into work, would it be horrible to bring the kids into the bar? There would be no one there just me and my employees, but IDK what else to do with them because he would take them into his office, which he plans on doing Tuesday but he can’t because of the meeting.
So what do I do with these kids? What do I cook them for dinner? What should I expect? Give me advice on anything and everything! How to get them to bed? How to keep them occupied? Also is this going to be super stressful? They’re really good kids and we get along with them well but the most we’ve seen them is a couple hours at a time. Please Help!
Also do you they all have car seats? Will three car seats fit into the back of a Range Rover? do you know?

Answer: First of all relax, kids can sense if your uptight or nervous!
Tell his sister to bring kiddie gates for the stairs, toys, movies etc.
The older kids will be fine eating what you eat unless its gourmet stuff, think kiddie menu from restaurants: grilled cheese, fries, finger foods. The baby will probably eat baby food that the mom needs to bring since she knows what the baby will need. You most likely will be taking more care of the baby than the older kids since they will watch tv or keep themselves occupied. The oldest child can look out for his middle sibling by playing with him or watching tv together. The oldest can also help you with how their schedule or routine goes.
On Saturday just stay home and get to know the kids better, Sunday go to the park, pack a picnic lunch. As for taking the kids to the bar for a bit I would take them, I did with mine until my mom could come pick my son up. I'm sure there is plenty of room to run around..lol.There will be other employees who may can help you out there until your b/f can come get them. On Tuesday maybe you can hire a friend or someone to help out.
As for bedtime baths around 8ish and bedtime soon after.
This does seem like a great chance to see how it would work out and see if you actually want kids...lol
But I would really get a list of things from the mother. I doubt you will have much problems since you said the kids are pretty good kids.

And yes you will need carseats and as long as there are 3 seat belts in the backseat they will fit. I don't know the weight limit or age limit for the oldest in your state if he needs or has to be in a carseat. Ask the mom!

What can I do? High school has taken up my life?Is it supposed to be like this?
I leave to school in the morning at around 7:00 am and when I get home at like 3:30 and Im done with a bunch of homework or working a project or studying a test its usually 8:30 or 9:00 if Im super lucky,6:30 and Im super tired I crash to bed.On fridays I keep praying every Friday for a little bit of work but I spend all of Friday night and Saturday working on school stuff ,this weekend I had 4 tests to study for, a project to work on,a math worksheet,and a killer science homework which took me 4 hours last night. I still have to study tommorrow some more. I try to do my own things incorporated into my life but all I usually do is watch glee on Tuesday nights, and doctor who on Saturday nights,and on Sunday afternoons I can go shopping or do something fun if Im done with all my work. Oh god and I joined a charity club and a culture club in high school cuz it looks good on my record but I feel so deppressed these days like school is everything I just wanna die ,and the teachers keep telling us its gonna be harder and faster soon .My grades are average though.
Im a freshman in high-school its catholic school so that might be it.
Ive also lost a few pounds because of no time to eat too.
How can I make more time for personal life or survive this?
Answer: High school was my life and I loved it! Yeah it may feel like its a lot of work but it will get easier (it will actually get harder but you will get used to it more). Take advantage of high school. JOIN EXTRA CURRICULARS THAT INTEREST YOU. Don't do things just because it looks good on your record. Do clubs/sports with friends and have that be your chill time. Try and do things more efficiently. It will get easier as you get used to it. In high school I was on 4 sports teams, the president of 2 clubs, exec on 3 others, volunteered at 3 different organizations on a weekly basis outside of school, and had decent grades (80s). Yes I got some nice scholarships for university as a result but I had so much fun doing everything, it didn't seem like work (except for school work of course). I would consider myself pretty average in terms of intelligence too. I usually only did 2hrs of homework a day, again, be efficient with your studying (to be completely honest I did pull a few very late nighters for projects sometimes). Once you find your rythme you will be fine. Also it gets better every year of high school as you establish yourself more. I don't think being in a catholic school differs much from being in a public school, it should all still apply.

is marching band fun?
Im currently in 8th grade, and scheduling for my freshman year. Im definitely playing in the regular band (concert, symphonic, wind ensemble), but i dont know if i should take marching band. I enjoy watching the marching band, but there are a few things i would like some advice on. Is it hard marching and playing? Is it fun? Is it hard memorizing the music? Is it hard getting all your work done? and will i get picked on by upperclassmen?
As far as marching while playing, i think Id be able to do it, but itd definitely be a challenge. Ive memorized music before so thats not a huge problem. But the the big one would be getting all my work done theyve given us a schedule of the practice (it goes Monday off, Tuesday-Thursday practice from 3.30-6.30, and Friday football games) So i guess im asking was it easy for all of you previously in the marching band? And finally i can deal with crap from alot of people, but i dont know about high school. At our HS the marching band is super competitive and respected by most, but not all. I guess im asking what were your experiences?
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

(P.S. if i do decide to do it, do you think i should take it freshman year to try out and see if i wanna stick to it or wait until my sophmore year?)
Answer: I loved that it kept my weight down; practice was 4 hours weekly. I didn't like away games. I don't like sports at all that was back during "Dallas" and "Knots Landing".

Opinions on my story?
Throughout the day, Holly and her friends went to every place there was in Cincinnati. Saturday to Holly was always a day to go out and do stuff with friends. Several times she had to stop Savannah from buying something silly like nick-knacks or some kind of antique item. Savannah insisted it was for her collection, but Holly wouldnt listen. People had to stop and watch the girls act silly and stupid. Stupid things seemed to have been Savannahs middle name.
Night soon fell, and they had to go back to the hotel. In room 315, they sat in the living room pigging out on Chinese, playing guitar hero in which Andy had bought for Savannah, and making jokes. Andy flicked some rice onto Savannah, causing her to flinch.
"Way mature, Andy." she said, wiping rice off of her shirt.
Everyone teetered at Savannahs expense. Carter sat in front of the TV with a white headset over his ears.
"You killed thirty people in Halo 3." Andy commented. "I would hate to be in that game."
Savannah laughed, knocking her head back. Carter looked at her with an amused expression.
"Are you ticklish?" he asked.
"No, how come?"
"Oh, nothing, its just---"
Without any warning, Savannah burst into fits of laughter while Carter tickled her crazily.
"Aha!" he said. "You were lying!"
"Stop it!" she laughed. "I hate that!"
Holly watched as Carter and Savannah joked around. They made such a cute and fun couple. She wanted to say something about it, but she knew it would make Savannah annoyed.
"Ill be back." announced Savannah, getting up off of the floor. "I need to get something to drink."
"Me, too." Carter said, following Savannah out of the room.
"So Mondays spirit day." Maris said to no one in particular. "What are the dress days?"
"Mondays sporty day, Tuesdays neo day, Wednesdays disco/groovy day, Thursdays super hero day, and Fridays blue and white day." answered Reese, taking a bite out of her orange chicken.
The whole time Reese was saying so, Andy saw Carter and Savannah kissing in the kitchen. He laughed to himself because they thought they could sneak around and do it.
When they came back, they acted like nothing had happened.
"Dude, if you were going to suck face with SavannahKitten, you could have just said so." smirked Andy.
Carters face went red. "What are you talking about. We werent sucking faces."
"I saw you two doing it!" laughed Andy, patting Carter on the back.
"Know you didnt." smiled Savannah. "It was all in your mind."
"Vanny, why would you lie about it when he caught you." Danielle said bemusedly.
Carter laughed uproarciously. "Okay, so we were."
"Man, you guys are nosey." Savannah said, breaking her fortune cookie in half.
The piece of paper inside told her she would be the queen of something very important. She shoved it into her pocket and then leaned her head against Carter. He pulled her up, placing her on his lap.
Answer: It certainly isn't the worst beginning I've ever read. But I do think it would benefit from a little more focus. You started out with Holly but then it was as if Holly disappeared in terms of POV (point of view). If you introduce the group as "Holly and her friends" then you should probably make everything from Holly's perspective.
There's also a lot of dialogue and not enough description. You have to remember that you don't have to put every conversation into words. Also on the subject, you need to put a little more work into making each of the characters sound like different people. They all blended into one for me and it got a little boring. Because of that, the section seems to meander and I wasn't even sure what the point of it was or where it was going.
This is all just my opinion, however. I hope I've helped in my own little way.

Does he only see me as a friend he wants to makeout with?
So the guy I work with and I have worked together for about a year. I just got out of a 6 year relationship he knows about. He and I have become friends first. Until last weekend we spent from 10:30am until 1am together. He introduced me to his brothers and when he took me home we made out
for like 2 hours and talked. He told me that he had like me for awhile as I had him but that he didnt act on it or think too much of it because I had a bf and we work together. Well he said he didnt want us to sleep together bc he he thought "we could really have something here," He said he wanted to "take it slow, do it right" and that I am beautiful and gorgeous and he hasnt been this excited about anyone in a very longtime. The next day at noon he called me and we went out for coffee. Hes 30 and has only been in one serious relationship and it was when he was 22. Hes very shy and kind of awkward. Very nerdy but I love that. He told me that he was going to tell our boss after about a week. I thought it seemed a little soon but agreed. He then asked me if I was "ready for this" I wasnt sure what he meant but said yes and he said he was too. Well that was last Sunday and Tuesday night he took me to dinner, and then we went to a bar and talked about litteraly everything for like 3 hours. When he droppped me off we madeout briefly and then Satuday (yesterday) he took me to dinner and then we went to a couple of bars and hungout and played a word game and laughed and were having a great time and we went to another bar and he said " I was thinking that we dont have to tell our boss unless we get more serious..." I said ok and asked him if he had lost interest in me and he said no but he just felt like he had maybe gotten a little ahead of himself last week when he said we would tell our boss. See hes a PA at my doctors office and Im a receptionist. Well then I asked him so "are we just friends that like to makeout?" I have a 7 year old daughter that I was sharing joint custody of w/my ex husband. decree states he gets her 183 days per year, and me 182.
last month, Sadie was injured while in her fathers care at her cousins house. the 9 year old cousin pushed her,she fell backwards and split the back of her head open. she got 3 staples put it. I had her that monday and let her go back to school but she had a rough time so her dr said to keep her home tuesday. this was dads day. upon me calling him to tell him I was dropping her off to him, he got mad, stating he needed to take a soma for his back pain and would sleep several hours. I told him no, it was his day to care for his child and dropped her off. he sarcastically said that if she was sick thurs (my day) he would be calling me. sure enough, he called Thurs, stating my daughter had hit her head on a car door frame and was hurting too much to go to school. after talking to my daughter, realized he was lying-he overheard our conversation, got mad at her and started yelling, hanging up the phone. I got my daughter and immediately after getting her back, she was acting very scared and once safely away from her dads house-stated to me that when the phone call ended, he yelled at her for lying to me, then hit her in the back of her head where the staples were and asked her "does your head hurt now?" I called CPS and reported him.
CPS is super busy and hasnt talked to me or her father yet but did interview my daughter (and her two older sisters that I have from previous marriage). My daughter stated that after telling the caseworker what happened, she told my daughter that her father was not being a good dad. the caseworker DID call me to make sure my daughter would NOT be returning to her dad and said that since she was now safe w/me, she would have to interview us once she was done w/other cases.
a week and half went by w/her dad not attempting to contact me or see his daughter.
on 12/15, he text messaged me, asking to talk to his daughter. I allowed this w/speaker phone but call only last 2 mins b/c he started guilt tripping my daughter asking "dont you want to come back home to daddy, why wont your mommy let you come back." I took the phone away, letting him know she wasnt going to school that morning b/c she was in fact sick w/cough and runny nose. he then stated that I had to still drop off my other 2 kids so he would meet me up at the school to "talk this out" anyways. upon arrival to the school, I saw him at the entrance so chose to stay in my car in back of parking lot while watching my 8 and 10 year old girls walk into school. I called the office to have them watch too. before my girls reached the front door, my ex confronted my 10 year old,blocking her path demanding to know where I was. She ignored him, grabbing her sister and walking past him. he followed them continuing to harrass them and demanding answers. Once inside, both of my girls started to cry and my 10 year old began to run down the hall with my ex screaming at her "stop, get back here and answer me, Im an adult-you have to answer me." at this point, a teacher on staff physically put herself in my exs way and told him to stop, leave my little girl alone,and to leave the building.
end result-I immediately went to the court and filed an order of protection which was awarded. I am now set to file emergency custody orders today to take full custody of my daughter.
other things her father has done
-is doped up on soma ALL the time. per my daughters statements-he sleeps all day long on weekends and my daughter has to make her own breakfast/lunch and watches uncensored tv all day long.
-hes allowed my daughters 7 year old friend inside the house to play while he sleeps
-my daughter reported finding a porn DVD on her portable dvd player he bought her for christmas. she discovered it while he was sleeping but states she didnt watch it (there was a naked couple on the front) and has also reported finding "naked lady" magazines in their living room
-has given my daughter his prescribed baby aspirins and his inhaler even after being warned by me of the dangers/being reported. my daughter does NOT have asthma
given all of this, what do u think my chances are of winning today?!!!

Answer: I would say you have an excellent case. I would be gobsmacked if they did not award you with the custody. However as this is just temporary custody, you will need to compile a lot of evidence and proof of his behavior in order to win permanent custody. Have the teacher at the school write a letter, and of course CPS will have their report as well.

i dont get why Im being attacked here. I called cps b/c my daughter was abused-something the judge praised me on when he gave me the order of protection and he was the one who told me to file the emergency custody order.
clearly Im doing something right if an officer of the court is on my side!!!

I love how people have the right to decide how joint custody works!! my daughter is NOT passed around every other day. her dad had her every Tues-Wed and every other weekend. I had her the rest of the time. not seeing my daughter for an entire 6 months is NOT feesable or appropriate.
I have the exact same custody arrangement with my other 2 kids and its worked JUST FINE for the past 8 years now....

Ive been having some VERY strange activity in my house lately...I want to know it if could be a ghost?
About a month ago,my dog Lulu howled in the middle of the night...she NEVER howls unless theres an ambulance or fire truck passing by. My mom made me throw her out because it wasnt normal for her. Weve had her since she was 8 months*shes two now*my uncle who had her said she never howled like that and whats more is that it also sounded like a growl. So I go to throw her outside*not literally though*she whimpers as if saying that she wanted to stay inside with me..again-SHE NEVER WHIMPERS!!...then,on Monday night*more like super early Tuesday morning at 1:31am*Im woken up by my mother who is screaming at the top of her lungs-"Dont take him! Dont take him!!!" and she screamed something about bees,blood and Im not sure what else. Then she started to say a prayer*I think*but she was saying it backwards,and it sounded like she was put on fast forward,her voice garbled as if she was drowning...after about 5 minutes of that she calmed down and woke up,saw me next to her and said-"Oh! Hey hon,something wrong?" My dad,little sister and myself looked at her with wide eyes...I whispered-"M-Mom...you d-dont remember what happened?" "? No,what happened?" My dad said-"Dear...you were screaming in your sleep..did you have a nightmare? "No hon,I dont remember" After that I had a very hard time falling back asleep but also I felt as if I was being watched in my room...my dog Lulu curled up right next to me feeling my discomfort. Lately shes been sticking even CLOSER to me than she normally does,she always sleeps with me but she doesnt leave my side...I need help,Im scared that something is gonna happen to my family...Id GREATLY appreciate if someone educated in the paranormal can reply to this. I am 17 years old and I do have an interest in the paranormal and I do believe in ghosts and other supernatural things but I have never practiced any kind of magic and neither has anyone in my family and we are Christians. Also,an FYI-before my family and I moved into our house,a family lived there before us. The story from our neighbors that knew about the family said that their oldest died from overdosing in her room which is my sisters room now. But my parents say that when we moved into the house,nothing out of the ordinary happened*I was 4*. Nothing had started happening until just about 3-4 months ago when I thought I saw a circle of a dark shadow that eventually shrunk and disappeared. My sister is super annoying!?
Okay, here, this is gonna be long just for you guys to see how life is like for me. So, my sister is very irritating, she is such a f****** irritating jerk a** hole. I mean, examples, Oh boy, I got lots of em, well, she is cranky / moody / mad like 97% of the time, and Im not kidding, Im serious. She doesnt seem to have a sense of humor, whenever i like, have friends with me in the house, I try to be funny , make them laugh, shes just gonna say out loud stuff like "what are you doing stupid? youre so weird! retard!" She says this not in a like joking manner, you can sense the seriousity in her voice. she has anger issues no doubt about it, umm, lets see, she is so into what she looks like, so obsessed with herself like (this happens regularly) in her facebook profile, when she uploads pictures of herself, first, she stares at the pic, then goes to this picture editing site called picnik and she uploads many pictures of herself and edits them, so it takes her like 4 hours (Im not exaggerating here, I seriosuly mean like 3-4 or even more hours) for her and when shes done, I check out the difference from that pic from its original version, IT SEEMS ONLY THE BRIGHTNESS CHANGED! what a waste of time! she has a very poor sense of logic and common sense, when our computer is slow, she always blames the games I play in here, like Call of Duty 4 she says stuff like "your stupid games are making the computer slow!" when obviously its just her mental anger and rage speaking out, she even frikkin logs in to her friends accounts to see how her profile looks like from their point of view. she is the worst kind of sister you can ever have, I always ask God regularly, "Father God, please, why me? why do I have to be the one related to her? What did I do wrong?" it seems like shes my punishment from God. Like right now, its 11:49 and so since powerbills are getting expensive, our parents are making us sleep in same rooms to use less aircons. (only for a few weeks, then back to normal yay! XD) So, its me and my sister in a mattress with my parentson the bed behind the mattress , now, the TV is on, I close it cuz im sleepy next thing that happens, she says " What did you do? Im watching STUPID!!!!!!" and shes planning to sleep too!! if she wants to sleep, why the **** is the ******* TV on!?!? She said shes still watching, yeah, sure, watch TV if you wanna sleep, that makes sense. I HATE HER SO MUCH!! and I got a dozen more stories, I just forgot about them, oh yeah, she easily gets angry and frustrated, back to this matter, like, she was on this site, logged on, and she was downstairs finished lunch, so I log out from that site, (Its called tumblr btw) and I just check a few stuff like email etc, then she goes upstairs and says "IM NOT DONE!! WHAT DID YOU DO!!!!! WHY DID YOU LOG OUT?!?!? HUH WHAT?!?!!?!? " and I would say HOW COULD YOU NOT BE DONE WHEN YOUVE BEEN IN THIS COMPUTER THIS WHOLE MORNING AND YOU STILL ARENT DONE!! it was a Sunday, and so, she had to do this homework, she had no school for her college the day after, which was Monday, she still didnt do her homework, now, it was Tuesday, I wake up at like 7:20 and I see her on the computer only frikkin doing her homework just then! SO IRRESPONSIBLE! meaning to say those weekends she was hogging the computer at Friday, Saturday , Sunday and Monday,(4 DAYS FOR GOODNESS SAKE!) she didnt bother doing her homework!! as usual, she was in facebook and picnik and tumblr, editing her pathetic pictures! Now, Im sure with her horrible devil-like personality, nobody would ever like her, xcept family members, but not me, Im starting to hate her to the extreme. damn, its 12:07 am right now, and I can still hear thast TV on, my parents arent home yet, so its just her in that damn room
