Do you think that Glenn Becks co-host (Kevin Wall) has a "man-crush" on police officers (cops/Law Dawgs)?
This morning I almost wanted to jump through the phone-line and snatch up GLENN BECKs co-host Kevin Wall. The guy must be "gay" nothing against "gay" people but he said he loved cops so much so that he believes that 99.9 % are good good and 99.9 % do the right thing. Then a Police Supervisor calls him on it. He now works as a Defense Attorney and yes he puts the screws to cops, Law Dawgs etc that try to lie, fudge etc the truth of a situation routine traffice stop, shoot or no shoot situation and so on. He was a cop for 25 yrs so he knows the life, walk and basically the soul of a cop. I too am a former cop. And for cops that dont believe what I am writing call Glenns show now 1-888-727-beck for todays show (Dec 30,2008) and listen to him go on and on with his "man-crush on cops" it scares me I dont want a cop groupie especially if its another man. Hey admiration, respect, understanding giving us Kudos for cops doing a good job is one thing. But use some common God given sense to Kevin Wall. Maybe as they say back in the day cops did try to do the right thing. For me that changed after THE BEATING OF THE BLACK MOTORIST IN LA ,Mr. Rodney King as other cops watched and this was captured on video. Can you say idiots and morons!!! Yes thats me too. I got in trouble on an off duty altercation with a civilian and my gun off duty. No one was shot. I only showed him I had it. Most cops have what we call "back-up or onion field security" watch the movie (The Onion field ) any way. Hey Kevin if this makes you mad or cry or makes Glenn mad then sue me. I am broke right now so take a ticket and stand in line. But dude you are biased. I can name you many instances both civilian and military. At my post on Fort Jackson DA police (DEPT Army Police shooting at a fleeing car that was not involved in a felony and was leaving the Fort Jackson Post), Pepper Spray used on a Sergeant Major by DA Police incorrectly and against procedure. All real world incidents contact the Provost Marshall at Fort Jackson.2nd Abu Gharib enuff said Army MPs at the bottom and all the way to CID screwed up. Civil police examples: South Carolina :Trooper pulled and dragged an elderly woman out her car on a routine traffic stop (this is a joke video now used on television on a regular basis to show that cops can be stupid too). Third and most recent example: NAACP uncovered hidden or overlooked dash camera video from SC Highway Patrol showed Trooper cruiser ramming a suspect also with audio a trooper yelling a racial ephithet and kicking a handcuffed suspect that was on the ground. Third and forth. A former Major in Miami Florida (cop type) pulled over routine traffic stop he was in civilian clothes the jr grade cops tried to arrest him he then identified himself but the jr officer brushed it off no Professional courtesy or field booking for the major he ended up quiting or resigning he also took his case before a Judge. Last example in California a undercover sting officer many yrs ago was pushed through a plate glass window and critically injured by other california cops (crooked) when he went to the station to serve a warrant and arrest them. Of course I could go on and on. So now at least I have broken the so-called BLUE CODE OF Silence. As a former cop and like the 25 yr police inspector said on todays Glenn Beck show. Lots of cops come from all walks of life and they are not perfect some arent even God or anything fearing. Todays mess up get fired, suspended ect for not following the procedure taught to every police officer, trooper,DOC,FBI,CID,Military cop that was taught to us at police academy and recently especially the use of the TASER that has caused Deaths yes TASER International you can lie cops sometimes lie so do you jokers. I hate to tell on my own maybe this will improve the force. Gates got fired Mark Furman etc and so did the Director of the Highway Patrol here in South carolina.
sign me
I use to be one of the good cops
Answer: No, I heard the same talk-show and Kevin was deliberately showing his bias as a way of inducing callers to discuss his (next week) jury duty summons, which is his first. He wanted to openly discuss whether others had disclosed their biases during voir dire and if that was useful getting on/off any juries.
Most callers related having disclosed biases and getting selected anyway.

Do you think that people who play the race card should be reprimanded legally?
Im not talking about someone who calls another person on being legitimately racist against them. Im talking about people who claim that a person is racist when they are in a situation where they dont have the upper hand and theyre trying to get out of an unfavorable situation theyve been caught in. Or in other words, play the race card.
Do you think that if a person falsely accused someone of being racist, and that accusation compromised their say their job, and the accusations where found to be untrue. Do you think that the accuser should face legal charges, and have to compensate the falsely accused for any pay they may have missed while perhaps suspended from work? Should the accuser have to release a statement publicly in some instances announcing that they did not face racism, and admit that they played the race card?
Being that some people can get fired for being accused of racism, and an accusation of racism can put an entire group of people on leave while thousands of dollars of tax payers money is being used to look into the matter. Do you think that if the accusations are found to be false, that the accuser should have to face jail time, or at least compensate the workers of pay they missed?
A few years back I remember a case where the Metis council announced that the RCMP were racist against native people when they shot and killed a 17 year old Metis boy. It sounds terrible, and 5 officers were put on suspension and there was a huge investigation into the matter. There was a bunch of interviews going around interviewing his family talking about what a kind person he was, and how hes never hurt a soul.
Later down the line it turns out that there was over 13 witnesses to the case at hand. The 17 year old guy had had a stand off with the police for over 40 minutes. The boy had been robbing a house and fled from the scene when cops arrived. The cops followed until he stopped and pulled a screw driver on them. They told him repeatedly to put down the weapon which he was threatening to stab them with. Over 13 people confirmed this, and to watching the boy repeatedly lunging at the cops. They pepper sprayed him, and even tasered him but he wouldnt go down. After around 40 min the boy lunged at one of the cops again where upon this the cop fired two shots into his chest. He was rushed to the hospital where he died that night. The witnesses confirmed that the officer only opened fire after being attacked.
It was later confirmed that that very same "sweet boy that would never hurt a fly" had stalked, then brutally assaulted his ex-girlfriend who was 8 month pregnant at the time just a month prior to this incident and he had numerous other felonies under his name.
Just a few short months later another young Metis boy was shot dead by police. The Metis council said that it was because the cops were racist against natives. Witnesses all reported watching the man attack offices with a knife after being chased from a crime scene. Again, he was pepper sprayed, tasered, then shot after attacking multiple times.
Do you think that the Metis Chief council should have been reprimanded for using the race card against these police officers who where doing what they trained to do against any individual who attacked them? Later investigations found that the council was trying to use these cases as leverage for more money. Do you think that these Chiefs should have lost their positions on the council? What legal actions should be taken to ensure that people who play the race card cannot victimize innocent people and distract from real cases of racism?
Answer: Its already illegal its called "defamation" or "slander"

The right to explain your side of a dispute which got you fired?
An employee was threatening myself with bodily harm while at work, I felt the situation would get worse so I decided to try and report it to my local union, I tried to set an appointment with one of the union officers, but legitimate reasons came up for the cancellations of both times I tried to meet with him and put on record these threats. I did explain to him the reason I was trying to come in and see him, so I had that going for me. Lets start here, tuesday I arrived for work a little late so I doing my fast walk to my work place, all of a sudden I feel someone near me and I turn around and its the employee that has a problem with me because he overheard something I said about him, so I turn around and I am startled and he says " I should whip your ASS right now" I reply " what is your problem grow up". Like I said I am running late so I continue to my work place, the way he sneak up on me just had me thinking all day, so this is when I call the union official to at least cover my but, but like I said they were canceled because of prior commitments, well friday I come in to work, headed to my work area, the other employee worked in a completely different work area, but I had to pass his area to get to mine, so I do pass it with no problem. I think to myself good all I have to do is do my job and get out of there with out any problems from this guy. I meet my supervisor at the work area and he explains what we have to do but the area is not ready yet, so go get some items we need to do the job. I leave for about 15 minutes and return to my work area and guess who is at my work area, the other employee, well my nerves start to get tense, now understand Im not scared of this guy, but policy is any kind of altercation is terms for disciplined for both parties. I walk up to my area, and he turns around with negative words about my deceased mother and kicking my ass, and then he flinched. Now I have a key-chain size pepper spray on my keys and the way i carry it, is my keys tucked in my pants with the key-chain hanging out. I had the pepper spray for over 5 years, it was not for this guy, it was just having a upper hand if attacked by someone on the streets, or any kind of altercation. So as he flinched like he was going to attack me, I automatically grabbed my key-chain and sprayed him in the face to alter his movement towards me. Well everything went crazy then, as security approach the chaos, from what they see and hear Im taken into custody, because I am the person that assaulted, as we get in the office I explain myself and security sends us home. The corporate office put in a letter of no rehire for both of us but never gave me a chance to explain my part and what lead up to the incident.
Answer: They don't have to "let" you explain your side. You used your pepper spray on another employee. Period. He did not hit you, you actually accosted him FIRST. I would have fired you too. You won't like to hear that I'm sure, but you basically threw the first punch in this situation. He didn't hit you, or even try to hit you, from the sound of your own testimony here. Violence in the workplace is unacceptable and most, if not all, companies have a zero tolerance policy where that is concerned.
You "felt" threatened. I get that. But instead of waiting for the "local union officers" you should have at least reported it to your direct supervisor so you had something on file. Either way, since he did not physically touch you, you had no reason to assault him as you did. If he decides to press charges, you could face jail time.
