what has happened between the british and american friendship?
I thought we are all friends however, i ask a question about what is going to happen with iraq and all i get is old politics or bad mouthing my spellings. please can people just answer questions if you dont have anything good to say please dont answer. I like american people i just dont like american and british politics at the moment. i thought we were on the same side i guess were are not anymore. If we are not why does europe not cut ties with the usa and sign nice big fat contracts with india and china and cut the usa out. that would soon kill off the usa. The EU is the worlds biggest economy, and the worlds biggest capitalist marketplace; according to World Bank data, it had a combined GDP in 2005 of more than $12 trillion. all they need is to join together and create a big army and they will be the biggest super power.
you say we have imigrents is america not a country of immergrents. i guess the world is a world of immigrents we all came from somewhere, was america not formed by british and spanish people and now chinese, indian, polish and so on. please forgive me if i am wrong ar the native people of the usa in power i think now so dont go on about immergration. i dont want to kill off the usa. it think if we hate each other why not go seperate ways. i think the us power will die off in the long run like everyother empire. i think with bush the usa is going faster than one thought with the chinese and india on the horizon the eu getting stronger i think the usa is finding its self increasinly becoming alone. when one talks about american compainese now do we not mean multinationals ie not many big companies are not from one nation any more ie, microsoft, exxon, ford and so on there in every country. british companies like bp/ shell and vodaphone/verison,hsbc in the usa. there all multi national
Answer: you like us but you've devised a plan to kill us off with your big army? nice..... this site is about opinions, grow up with the good comes the bad. economics help, questions about poverty?
I am having some trouble answers these questions about poverty since they are not in my Economics book and I have looked else where and there isnt much help with these questions. Any help with them is appreciated. Thank you.
Historically, is poverty the rule or the exception?
How is poverty measured by the World Bank?
How do we eliminate poverty?
What is Capitalism?
What is wealth. Whats the difference between wealth and income?
What is absolute poverty and relative poverty?
Throughout the world, where is poverty located?
Is Capitalism good for the poor?
Answer: poverty is the rule.
Absolute poverty is those that live under 1 dollar a day.
if there was a surefire way of elminiating poverty, there wouldnt be any, but a good start is to institute private property rights, have a good police and judicial system, a good government, have good public education and have a decent health care system.
Capitalism is the voluntary exchange between individuals or groups.
Wealth is how much in resources you have accumulated through your career, and income is what you earn for your services.
absolute poverty is living under 1 dollar a day. relative poverty is being in the bottom rung of the poor in your country. Poverty is located in most of Africa and parts of Asia like Bangladesh.
Capitalism is good for all people, as it is the most fair system.

This just in from the AP regarding Bushs appointment of Zoellick to the World Bank; what do you think?
"President Bush on Wednesday tapped his former trade chief and No. 2 diplomat, Robert Zoellick, to run the World Bank, embarking on a healing process to mend wounds inflicted by outgoing president Paul Wolfowitz."
Its the term "healing process" that Id like to focus on today. Thats a term used by left-wing social welfare types & it occurs to me that the AP functions more as a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party than it does as a "news organization".
Agree or disagree?
BTW, any answer with Wolfowitz in it will reported automatically - consider yourself warned. In addition, any answer whining about what Ive just said will be reported - again, youve been warned.
If this sounds a bit hard or harsh all I can say is Im tired of the whining, juvenile behavior on this forum. If you do not wish to address the question at hand then please go somewhere else or you will be reported. Its as simple as that.
Have a nice day & dont forget what the man said: Dont Worry, Be Happy!
Answer: I agree, although I don't think it's just AP, most US news sources have a liberal slant to them.

Will I be able to get a credit card during this global financial crisis?
Im in Canada and I wanted to apply for a new credit card, but now were apparently all in trouble because of this global credit crunch. Im not too well versed in what this all means, but I keep on hearing about this credit freeze all over the world. So does that mean that the credit card I applied for wont be approved? I know for a fact that I have great/excellent credit, and I have many assets at the particular bank in question.
Any answers would be appreciated.
Answer: on face value you should not have any problems -- go to your bank and request one of there bank cards!!!!

Is it a wonder the G20 group are giving trillions of dollars to the world bank & IMF after this......?
http://www.politics.com/news/8874/world-bank-president-admits-agenda-for-global-government/
What happened to them being secretive about it?
I just read this question...

So dont you guys care (Americans) they are pushing for a world government?
"We are on the verge of a global trasformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the new world order" David Rockefeller (CFR member, trilateral commission member... youll probably already know Obama, McCain and many people from Obamas administration are in these organizations, his brother was also a vice president)
If you dont know who he is... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Rockefeller
This "conspiracy" has been going on for years and years and years, now its not really a conspiracy anymore, the media arent hiding it.
Also the David Rockefeller quote, how do you really know what crisis was formed by them, and what wasnt?
Right now they are forming a "one world economic order" or a global new deal.... whatever they call it.
That quote basically says, "they will accept it because of the right major crisis" and now look at the answers from that question.... somewhat Ironic isnt it?
Here is a better source...
http://www.congresscheck.com/2009/04/01/world-bank-president-admits-agenda-for-global-government/
Answer: No one wants a one world government, those people are just stupid and haven't woken up yes. The quote & those answers are quite ironic but I guarantee most Americans will be against it, its just been reported more in England. People seem to be denying fact at all costs, and are looking pretty stupid everyday.
Trust many people NOT to answer this question, they are all blissfully unaware or havent quite found an argument to come against fact yet, time for them to face up to it, Obama, just like Bush, pushed for this crap.

What if the world was really coming to an end and you had a chance to do something about it but didn’t?
Im not a big person on religion or anythin but back then when I attended this christian school I was told stories of how the world may come to an end or signs that will occur when it is near. One of these stories included a dictator that would be controlled by the devil. The devil gave him orders and told him everything to do and say. One of these orders included that no one would be able to purchase anythin without the mark of the devil or something like that. I watched the Obama Deception today and things started kinda piecing themselves together. I’m not saying that Obama is the individual that is controlled by the devil but it does seem like he has a role in all this. Even if he doesn’t want to he is being forced to. This new world order idea wants everything to be controlled under one bank. It seems that Obama thus far is striving towards this as well. Now when everything is controlled under this one world bank it will give it substantial power. It will be giving the orders for everything. So lets say that this world bank does establish. You will have to follow whatever procedures they give you or face the consequences. FEMA Camps are being established all over the U.S. for what purpose? Looks familiar doesn’t it (Adolph Hitler). So all the people who don’t want to follow these world orders will be sent to these camps and either murdered or tortured. Now ive been doing research just because I want to satisfy some of this curiosity I have and it seems like Obama has been deceiving us ever since hes been in office. He has only done nothing but the opposite of what he said he would just like the tyrants of back then. Hes told us he will pull troops back but instead sent more. 7 trillion dollars went missing which were suppose to go to the banks in jeopardy. Now im not a smart individual as you can see how I’ve wrote this but I see the picture that’s trying to be sent. We the people cant sit around and do nothing and expect something good to happen. We have to come together as individuals and stand against this tyranny that may be forming right in front of our faces. We have to get to the people who are above and controlling President Obama and bring them down before this gets any worst. If Obama were under the control of these tyrants then I would understand why he is doing it. He was picked as a puppet and when he got into office they were probably like okay your gonna do this and this and this or else this will happen. So lets say Obama does take everything into his own hands and takes control of everything. He doesn’t have the power necessary because these individuals using Obama are too strong. They could easily say one thing and have it done. So its natural for Obama to follow orders. Its only the beginning but you can see where everything is kinda going. Im an 18 year old dropout/ex gangbanger living in Atlanta, Ga who likes to think about life alot. My last book I read was maybe 6 or 7 years ago. I only read things that interest me or gets me thinking. If I can see that the United States is in a state of crisis then the rest of the country should also. Im not a fan of superstitions and all of that but the answers are really all there. If you don’t want a repeat of history then you should try voicing your opinions more and spreading the message. We the American people need to take our freedom back from all these money hungry tyrants. Show them that we are the law and that they will obey. Watch the Obama Deception and that should answer most of the questions you have about what I am talking about. This is just another note of an Amercan citizen voicing his opinions. If you would like to keep that privelege then you should look into what I have only started to talk about. But for now I can do nothing but pray and try to spread the message to as many others as I can.
For the idiots..I never called obama the devil or anythin..im sayin tat he is being manipulated by someone higher..and wen i say world is coming to an end i mean U.S. in a state of depression war and chaos
Keep in mind that adolph hitler, mao zedhong and alot of other world leaders promised their people a better future but look what happened..and plz dont comment unless your serious and read what i have said..its ignorant people that think just because obama is black that we are trying to target him and make him look bad when were just trying to look out for the well being of the american people

Who believes in the world banking conspiracy more Reps or Dems?
If you were to divide America up into two groups: Those who support the Republican party, and those who support the Democratic party. Which of these two groups would have the highest percentage of people who believe in world banking conspiracy?
By world banking conspiracy I mean the belief that that bankers - sometimes but not aways Jewish bankers - are secretly running the world via a shadowy unelected government.
This isnt a question about how many people actually believe it or about whether its true or not, just which of these two groups has the largest level of belief.
If you feel inclined to make stupid comments without answering the actual question, please go elsewhere.
Noreen is a prime example of the answer that I dont want. If oyu have an answer like Noreens then take it elsewhere.
Reps or Dems, please. No other answer.
Im not interested in whether the conspiracy is real or not, only which side is more likely to believe in it.

Subject:
Why wont Republicans acknowledge that Obama is saving the US economy?
Additional details:
Its very easy to see that Repubican arguments suggesting that Obama is causing the economy to fail are disconnected from reality:
#1 Their former hero GW Bush warned while he was in office that we were in danger of a depression worse than the great depression: "The question facing a President is not when the problem started, but what did you do about it when you recognized the problem. And I readily concede I chunked aside some of my free market principles when I was told by [my] chief economic advisors that the situation we were facing could be worse than the Great Depression."
#2 The IMF credits stimulus spending for making credit flow again, reducing uncertainty, increasing confidence, and improving financial conditions. They also say that job growth will return in early 2010 (as all economists know, job growth is a lagged indicator of the economy): http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/survey/so/2009/res100109a.htm
#3 All economic news continues to be positive, and jobs are beginning to return (see: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091224/ap_on_bi_go_ec_fi/us_economy ). The Dow is up more than 25% on the year and continues to go upward.
As for deficit spending, the IMF argues that the time to worry about the deficit is after the economy has fully recovered, not before (it could endanger the recovery). Despite this, Republicans still complain about spending, while ignoring (i) The indisputable success of TARP which has returned more than $200 billion from the major banks, and (ii) The Republicans are the worlds biggest hypocrites when it comes to deficits, see: http://www.forbes.com/2009/11/19/republican-budget-hypocrisy-health-care-opinions-columnists-bruce-bartlett.html
Looks to me that Republicans dont have a leg to stand on here. Will they ever admit that they are wrong, and thank Obama for fixing up the disaster that was mostly caused by them?
There *is* a question: "Could somebody explain why this was a misuse of the questions and answers format?"
If I post the question only with no supporting data, then I get criticized for not have any proof to back up my question. But if I include the proof, then suddenly it gets classified as a rant? Well, thats a solid strategy for trying to censor anything that does not agree with their far-right agenda. Unbelievable that Yahoo thinks they can censor political viewpoints that disagree with their own. Has it always been this way here, or only since Jerry Yang was ousted?
Answer: The question is one that cannot be answered with an answer based on facts, no one can know what or why each Republican thinks. The guidelines say---If the answers to your question are facts and data, as opposed to opinions, that is a good question. If you are seeking pure opinion, that is chat.

How are insurance companies related to the world bank?
This might be a loose question but Im looking for info on how the relationship between insurance companies and the world bank works, and how it further corrupts society and the already corrupt monetary system.
I dont mind whether answers are in reference to UK, European or American institutions, but I would prefer answerers to highlight which they are answering about :-)
Feel free to voice opinions and go as deep as you want
Thanks
Answer: Well it is easy money. the world bank relies on the insurance monies to make money. Unlike savings once the insurance money is spent it is a disposable income and a very welcome one. Below are a few links for you to have a look at. The world bank is just doing what every other bank does.

who in the world is this Guy is it spam on YA?
so I posted a question in yahoo answers an a chic name robyn excuse me Phoenix Robyn said for me to email a guy name chris james. the email address was chrisjames@yahoo.com.He supposedly give out loans to individuals ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 dollars notthat I am stupid to accept the loan bc I googled himcould not findhardly nothing. So I went ahead and emailed the guy and told himI was intersted in what he had to offer. The guy emails me at 11:27 pm. I didnt think I would get a respomse so I was shocked when he did. heres the conversation
Me:Hi,my name is --------- a Phoenix Robyn reffered me to you and said you help with giving loans I am interested in knowing a little more about what you offer.
James:Are you sure you are serious about the loan like Robyn and will not disappoint us on the monthly repayment,if yes then get back to us for us to email you the loan procedure that can make us to include your transfer along with the ones we have for today for you to receive the loan in your bank account within 24hrs of banking,we need your swift response on this so that we can help you.
Me:Well before I get serious I would like to know what are the procedures and how much I qualify for and what are your interest rates.
James:We give loans to individual ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 USD and the interest rate is 2 percent the procedure is you will fill our loan application form and we will send you the loan repayment terms and conditions after which if you agree to it,we can then get your loan transferred like we did to Robyn after she accepted our loan repayment terms and conditions,so if you know you need the loan then get back to us for us to send you the loan application form to fill for us to start your loan processing Asap because delay in loan transfer is not advisable
I just want to know has anyone recieved yahoo answers from unrealistic people or ever heared of this James guy or phoenix robyn chic it just seems fishy to me

World ending in 2012 questions?
Since about 1 out of 10 questions in the Astronomy section here are about 2012 and the impending end of the world, do you find yourself going back into the answers youve already given and pasting the same answer over and over again to the people who ask about it?
Do you prefer to give a serious answer, or something humorous? Do you have a specific go-to, or do you make it up on the spot?
I prefer something along the lines of:
A large group of us are working to prevent the impending disaster, but we need help! Please liquidate all of your assets and donate them to the cause, transferring your wealth to our offshore bank account...
But Raymond, NASA could potentially use the money to save us! Im just going to waste it on beer and strippers!
Answer: Type of answer: all of the above (I paste, I add, I adapt to a specific question if needed, I try a bit of humor...)
Your proposal: Sounds like recent NASA pitches for their yearly budget. Give us money or some unknown asteroid will wipe us off. Give us money for new satellites otherwise the 2012/2013 flare will leave people without Twitter... for days! Aaaaaarrrrrrggggggh!
