Extremely depressed over William McQuain case?

I dont know if any of you have been following the case, but basically a week ago or so they found this woman dead in her house, and her 11 year old son missing. They sent out an amber alert for him and police hoped to find him alive but a few days ago, they discovered his body in the woods. I just cant stop thinking about how tragic this all is, this poor little boy with the most beautiful, innocent smile in the world killed by someone he knew and trusted. They saw surveillance footage of him and his stepfather (the murderer) the day he was killed, and he was being playful and was so innocent. Then just hours later hes killed, and his body just dumped in the woods :(((((((((((((( I want more than anything to believe he went to heaven, because at least I could find peace in that thought... its just frustrating to never know, you know? They said his mother and him have attended church since 2009 in an article I read, thats really the only comfort I have. September 25 2009 8:30am I set trap of putting my bed sheets at the end of my bed to touch the floor on both my and my brothers beds. I did this to determine if the maintenance guy would try and access my laptop which was placed under. 10:50 I got off of school early because class was cancelled. 11:30 I walk into apartment #11 at this time “the maintenance guy” is in the kitchen as I walk in the door is open. He says “I just got here” as he was breathing very hard sweating and was shaking. By this time I know something is up by his deceptive body language but what he doesn’t know is that I set a trap for him. I look at the beds and to my avail I found that the sheets were not as I had put them but half way up the bed. 11:40 I start to clean my room as I do this I start ripping up receipts and bank statements. Some of my statements were in my top dresser droor. I quickly look through them and one had a piece missing from it. Then I put the file in which they were stored into a bag with other random items in the closet so he could not find them. 12 I go back into the kitchen to help him. Im also at this time trying to social engineer. I find out he’s from south Africa. He had only been working at the apartments exclusively a week. He really doesn’t work at the apartments a lot. I also noticed he would like to show up when we were not there. It took him along time to do the job three simple tasks took him predicted three days to finish. 12:15 phone call It was a friend whom im expecting to be the other maintenance guy to notify him of my departure. He encoded some info that I quickly decoded. The day before I told him that I use to work for my friends dad in apartment renovations. I also told him that he was a multimillionaire. He said he cant go to the strip club with his multimillionaire boss because he was busy. The time frame he said was three hours which was the time that I left to work to the time my brother came home. I decoded strip as to take and multimillionaire boss was my room. He also stated that he had gone to the hospital and the bills were 6000 dollars. I asked him why he didn’t cut work to go he said that it was another boss. He paused in this sentence to think. Another form of deception. Then we went to the bathroom where he put clr into the shower and bath. He said that it would take two hours to clear. Who was going to be there in two hours when it was done. no one. I also noticed he didn’t have a wedding ring on which lead me to believe that he was not trustworthy because a woman doesn’t even trust him enough to marry him it sent up red flags. 1 I leave for work in suspicion 3 Leave work 3:20 I suspect that a surveillance was set in the parking lot to make the thief’s aware of my presence because when I arrived home the tools in the bathroom were still there. 4 As im am standing at a bus stop on ivy and century a red suv goes past with a person yelling indecipherable words out the back right side window.

Obligitory sexuality-induced confusion topic go!!!?

In case you missed the sarcastic tone of ecstasy in my "question", I am yet another poor child confused about their sexuality. Im not asking you to tell me what I like, I can decide that for myself. Ill take whatever positive or offensive answers you give me with a grain of salt, but this is a place where I can remain anonymous and vent my frustration with a false sense of hope that I will receive an answer other than what I assume I will receive. Heres my situation (not exactly uncommon among those popping into the LGBT section): I have a girlfriend whom I have been dating for the past 2 years (our anniversary was yesterday, oddly enough). As with any relationship, things started of pretty fiery for the first month, but then things died exponentially. I still love her with all my heart, but in an entirely emotional way; not sexually. Ive explained how I feel to her before, perhaps only a few months after we started dating. We came to the conclusion that I was asexual, as I was not particularly interested in sex with her, nor any other woman. I immediately dismissed the possibility that I was attracted to men. Why did I assume that I was not gay? To tell the truth, I was homophobic until I was about 15. I was raised a Catholic, though loosely (Dad is atheist and mum may be agnostic), so I ended up coming up with my own custom-built religion, being agnostic and even atheist from time to time, but never considering that I may have been attracted to other guys. However, looking back now I can see that I was actually attracted to a number of guys, even when I was attending a heavily religious private school. Still, I remained homophobic and just dismissed these feelings as admiration. At about the age of 15, a close friend of mine opened up to me that he was bisexual, this came unexpectedly to me and I forced myself to alter my perception of the LGBT community, learning very quickly to empathize with them and not judge them. I could continue, but its all the same - ignoring my "true feelings" (omg I sound like Im overemphasizing by using that term, lol). Of course, two years ago, I began dating this girl who had been a close friend of mine since we were 11. She had been through the break-up of an engagement and was generally looking very sad. I felt I needed to comfort her and over the course of a few months I felt the urge to ask her out. Ive explained what has happened since we started dating. So far things sound moderately normal (at least in my mind, but Ive been proven completely wrong before). However, now that Ive been trying to comfort myself as Im stressing during my final year of school, Ive tried to understand who I really am and what I really want in life. Ive realized that I am feeling an emotional connection to a good friend of mine (I have no idea of his sexuality, bu I assume hes just a friendly hetero; by friendly I dont mean "friendly", lol :P), as well as a sexual attraction to other guys, though Im trying to dismiss that for the sake of my relationship with my girlfriend. Not only that, but Ive realized (I know this sounds stupid, some of you might think "why would you have not realized that yet?") just how unattractive I find the opposite sex (I find myself wanting to shudder from time to time when I hear straight guys talking about women in grotesque ways). I have had intercourse with my girlfriend before, but I ignored my dissatisfaction of her body (not on a personal level, but a gener-level), but ultimately I find it unsatisfying (and very hard to reach orgasm). Im certain that Im exaggerating; I dont believe that 100% homosexual or 100% heterosexual people are very common, and I am somewhat attracted to the opposite sex and my girlfriend, but mostly I just like their face for being "pretty". Even breasts are more attractive to me on an aesthetic level (if that makes sense), rather than a sexual one. I absolutely hate using the words "hot" or "sexy" when talking about a woman, perhaps that is because I honestly do not feel that way towards them. I can not honestly say the same about men, because I guess Im still somewhat in the denial stage (though perhaps only one step from the door to freedom, whatever that may be). Ive elaborated enough. Tell me to dump her, tell me to seek counseling, consider bisexuality, whatever - I just felt the need to vent. Thank you for putting up with so many of these topics LGBT! :)
Answer: Can I just say thank you really quick? Thank you for such a well written question. It was a pleasure to read. As for my answer, I think you definitely need to break up with your girlfriend. Whether or not you are gay you have a lot of soul searching to do and I think that dragging her down this road with you is a bad idea. Sit her down and tell her what youve written here. Ask if you can still be friends. Hopefully she will hear the sincerity in your voice and react kindly. As for being gay or not I think you need to take more time to decide. Do what youre doing now, ask questions, get involved in the LGBT community and start discovering yourself. Good Luck

Im 11 weeks pregnant and Im still having a period, has this happened to anyone else!!!!!??????

Ok, I found out at the beginning of June that I was pregnant. I had little reason to believe that I was pregnant other than an appetite change, Breast changes including blue veins beginning to appear on my breast and collar bone area, sensitive and tingling nipples, and areola Changing including enlargement and white bumps starting to form, but those things didn’t really convince me that I was pregnant, I didn’t feel pregnant, I had been pregnant before and the morning sickness, frequent urination and missed periods were all sure Signs that I was indeed pregnant, but this time I continued to have periods and other than the appetite change and changes To my breast, I didn’t have any definite signs of pregnancy, but my husband wanted me to Take a hpt anyway, so I did and it came back negative. I took several more and most came back negative and one had a faint positive sign. After all the Negative results, I left the pregnancy idea alone and by that time I had gotten my next period. Several weeks later I began to have tension headaches, daily and I also began to feel twinges in my stomach, which I later learned were Round ligaments pains. These things concerned me so I consulted my family doctor. I explained to her all the changes That were going on with my body and also the inconsistencies in my periods (I didn’t explain that earlier, but I will At the end of my post) and she asked was I pregnant. I informed her that my husband and I had been ttc, and I had Thought that I had fallen pregnant at the end of april, and I had taken several test which all came back negative. My doctor decided to give me another urine pregnancy test which came back negative and she also gave me A blood pregnancy test, this of course came back positive. After the positive result, an ultrasound was done To confirm and I was placed on prenatal vitamins, etc. the thing is, I still have some bleeding every month. My family doctor and ob/gyn are all aware of this, I have been checked and my baby is fine and Im having No complications other than the bleeding,. Now that I know that Im pregnant its kind of scary to still Be having a period. With my first pregnancy, I didn’t have a period and all the pregnancy symptoms that you could Ever think of but with this pregnancy, Im still having a period and no symptoms other than an occasion headache and A lot of changes in my breast. Has this happened to anyone else???, I have read some posts were women have had their Periods while pregnant, but I wanted to ask the same question but in my own way. I also see a lot of people Who say that a woman can’t be pregnant and still have periods but believe it because I am a living witness That it does happen. Also, when I say period, I do mean that I have been having periods, not SPOTTING Not slight bleeding……I know what spotting is and I know what a normal period is also. With my periods, They have been normal for the past three periods. When I got pregnant in april, the bleeding wasn’t normal though, it was light and it was spotting and it only lasted for four days. The normal time for me is 6 days. The period that I had in may was heavier than the bleeding that I had in april and there were even clots In the first two days of my period, on the third day though, it slowed down drastically and on the Four day, the blood turned from red to dark brown and stopped. This has also occurred for june and July’s periods. – july’s period has just gone off july9-12. has this happened to anyone else.?? I have a Friend who didn’t know that she was pregnant until she was 5 months, but im not sure whether her Periods were normal or not, but I want to know the personal experiences of others and whether Your periods were still normal. Answer: i had my period for 3 months straight. went in to talk to my doctor to see what was wrong. did urine test and 2 blood tests. all normal. so, they did an ultrasound. there he was. the doctor said it's my body fighting the pregnancy. but, he's fine. a happy healthy baby. so, don't worry too much.

Im one of those writers who looks over their work and thinks its total crap... Mind reading this excerpt for me and help me improve? Please? =] - - - - - - - - - - - It starts with the dreams… Or rather the dreamlessness. All you remember is falling asleep, then nothing as gentle darkness takes over. And when you wake up from the world you never truly saw… That’s when your dreams end, and your nightmare begins. You could always tell when the night had been covered with a much different darkness. The searing pain running up and down your arm was always hard to miss, after all. Of course, when you looked at your arm, hoping to find the source of the pain, all you’d find were half-healed scars you didn’t know you had. Later on, you’d find the fading bruises that littered your body, coloring it black and blue. Of course they were always gone by the time night fell, trailing along behind the setting sun. But they always came back… Always. It was one of the few reasons I had my own room. Mother Rayne said I’d cry in the middle of the night, ever since I’d turned ten. She said I’d scream when the moon was high in the air, and when she’d come running to see what the hell could make me scream so loudly, she’d find the cuts, bright red and oozing crimson-colored blood. Answer: Very interesting! I'm intrigued. However, I do have a couple of things to note: The beginning was a little, shall I say, confusing? Well, not really confusing... it was just a little bit sudden. I don't know if that's the beginning of the story or not, so I can't really say much more about that. Also, when you said "She said she’d always felt the darkness that seemed to follow my ever move", make sure you add the 'y' to the end of 'ever'. lol no big deal Aside from the first comment, which wasn't very helpful I'm sure, I think it was great. Pregnancy after Missed Miscarriage?

I posted a few weeks ago explaining how concerned I was about me having few pregnancy symptoms. All my previous pregnancy I was sick horribly and they were the successful ones.I have two children and Ive had a previous miscarriage at 6 weeks about 2 years ago. which I wasnt sick so I knew then also that something was wrong. But went on to have my daughter .I got pregnant a month after..Well yesterday I go for my 11 week check up for this pregnancy. They check for the heart beat with the doppler and she couldnt get it. So immediately I was nervous, but she reinsured me this was normal. So anyway she goes to check to see if I feel 11 weeks she says I feel kind of small but everything else looks find I will see you in 4 weeks.From the very beginning I had a feeling something wasnt right with this pregnancy but my mind was put at ease a little between posting and seeing the heartbeat at 7w4d. for those who remember my posts..I was posting at least once a week...So I go to the ER because I just couldnt sleep I just didnt feel right.My husband thought I was a nut case and refused to go so I went by myself..I complained of cramping but I wasnt. I just had to know if my baby was ok because I just didnt feel right..I go to the ER and they take me to radiology, the tech never said anything the whole time, shes just clicking away taking pics she stepped out and said the doctor will be in to speak with you.. I said is everything ok. She says the dr. will explain, by this time I already knew..So the dr. comes in and says something to her while looking at the screen, she used a medical term and then turns to me and says Im sorry to inform but your baby has no heartrate it stop developing at 8 weeks and 4 days..I said I knew something was wrong I immediately started crying..At that point Ijust felt overwhelmed with all types of emotions..I was so mad at my husband for not coming or believing me, he eventully apologized..I couldnt believe I was right and even after see the heartbeating..I knew all alone and everyone thought I was over reacting and being paranoid but us women know are bodies.So know I have to get a D&C on Monday..So Im like know what.. Im scared as hell to get pregnant again..I always thought no blood and no cramping meant everything is okay..I was defiently wrong...As upset as I was I came to grips pretty quickly because I have other children and I still have to function. I know that this was gods will and it happened for a reason.. Has anyone had a missed miscarraige and had a succesful pregnancy afterwards? sorry for being long winded I had to tell my story..
Answer: I am so sorry for your loss. I know it's devastating when you don't get the typical miscarriage signs. I found out that our baby didn't have a heartbeat earlier in the year and had to go in for a d&c. It was the most heartbreaking thing ever. I've lost a baby both ways and I definately think that the no symptoms and finding out when you have an ultrasound is the worst ever. However having gone through all that I am now 21 weeks pregnant with a girl and everything is perfect this time. Your time will come, just have to wait xoxo

Answer: I'm not even going to read the whole excerpt (sorry) because it doesn't matter how good it is. At all. Writing is NEVER a good "career choice". Ever. And I say this as somebody who is very, very hopeful to one day get published. Here's the thing: The odds are, you are not going to get published. You could be the best writer on the planet, you could have a totally inventive and creative novel, and you could STILL get rejected because there simply isn't room on the market for whatever it is you're selling. So no, writing is not a good "career choice". Should you continue to write? Yes absolutely. Even if you totally sucked (which, from a brief review of your writing, you don't), you shouldn't stop writing if you love doing it. You should continue doing it so you can get better. Very few writers sit down, write a novel, and have it turn out wonderful. It takes practice. So yeah, keep on writing. If nothing else, it can be a hobby. If you're incredibly, amazingly lucky, you can make a career out of it. But don't PLAN on it being your career. Ever. Because that is how you end up with a degree in Creative Writing, several thousand dollars in student loans, and absolutely no way to pay them back. Plan to get a degree (or find a trade if you're not going to school) that will allow you to at least have the possibility of getting steady employment and continue to write on the side.

Should I be worried!!??!! How do I know what is right??? desperately need advice?

I have a very serious situation and it is very complicated but I need to know if I did the right thing. I am a 33 year old woman. I have four kids ages 14,11,10, and 6. I met a man on myspace a little over 3 years ago, first through email then we formed an extremely close friendship and finally developed into a relationship in October of this past year. This is a very complicated situation and I am trying not to make it too long, but I do want to make sure to include the important parts. I am seeing some things that by themselves are not cause for concern but all put together paint a bad picture. This guy has always been very sweet, seemingly a good dad to his girls. He has done so much for my family and we have literally been inseparable for the last couple of years. Problem is he has developed what I consider to be *too* close of a relationship to my oldest son. To keep this from getting too long here are the red flags that went up: 1- Before I started spending the night at the home, my oldest son very often did stay there. I did find out that my son 11-12 years old at the time had been sleeping in the bed with my friend, who is 38 now. I was not comfortable with that then and asked them both to stop and they didnt. We had several arguments over this. My son and his 16 year-old daughter had "inappropriate contact" for lack of a better word and his daughter accused my son (then 13) of "making her do this" and he got arrested and put into all sorts of programs for sex offenders and my son was ordered not to have contact with his family. Obviously this put a serious dent into our relationship, but we decided to work through it. My son was sent to live with his father because I did not "adequately supervise him" and let that incident happen. We both thought that this was normal teenage behavior and unfortunately that it got into the legal system (the girl told a teacher thats how it got out) Next red flag, he had given me an inactive cell phone for my daughter to use and he did not erase the messages off of it. I opened it to find a message from him to my son that said "good night, I love you. I miss cuddling in bed with you at night" which leads to the next red flag the man said he had no sex drive and we do not have a physical relationship and he said he does not like intimacy and I accepted that because sex does complicate things but this is a man in his 30s and he claims to not even masturbate. next red flag his daughter later admitted to everyone she felt guilty about the incident with my son and lied. She seems very preoccupied with sex and with everyones bodies, which I know is somewhat normal for a 16 year old but not quite to that extent. A week ago she rubbed my 11 year old daughters breast so I had to break the entire relationship off and report the incident, which has started WWIII around here I told him that the relationshiop with my son, with all of us had to stop and he was never to contact us again. He said that I can never keep him and my son apart no matter what Last thing is that I found out last night that this man was investigated for molesting his daughter when she was 4 but case was closed due to lack of evidence. But this man has been a constant part of my life for all of this time, closer than Ive ever been to anyone in my life. I cannot in my heart believe this could be true even after I look at all the stuff that looks bad. He seems to be such a good guy. Did I do the right thing to report this? He thinks Im being vindictive because of the relationship ending. The relationship ended because I was seeing things I didnt like. Thanks for the responses. I am freaking out. In addition to all of this, my mom died two weeks ago and I have no friends and nobody to talk to. I guess I know in my heart even though it literally makes me sick, what the truth is but I am kind of making sure Im not the only one that sees something wrong with this. He thinks I am "closed minded" well, I am not apologizing to being closed minded on this type of thing. It is wrong in every sense of the word for a man to "cuddle" in bed with a teenage boy. My son isnt even really denying it he just keeps saying he cant "betray" a friendship and "look at what all he has done for us" I am just sick.
Answer: RED FLAG?????? Are you kidding me? You should have gotten away from the guy the first time your son was in bed with him. but anyway, you did the right thing by exposing them. Here is something for you to consider: If this guy were mean to you and said awful things, told you he was going to have sex with your son etc... would you have ever spoken to him again? That's why these people are so nice - it's the only way to get to you and your family. A single woman with kids is easy pickings for these guys. There are people who are nice - then there are people who are too nice too soon. You know, like those people who seem to smile all the time but it never feels like a real smile... that it is covering up something they don't want you to see?

Should I give her a chance?

Ok, so I went overseas to cambodia to visit a friend and have met a woman there. She is cambodian. However, Im not sure about the relationship. We lived together for 1 month in an apt in cambodia. I actually got engaged in 1 months time. I know pretty stupid. But, Im a guy. Not sure what to do. Am I making the right choice. Im back in the states and Ive had some major issues with trying to get her a visa. First, I found out she was not legally divorced. The problem is she speaks english very fluently because she was married to an ex-marine, but cant read or write at all. She left the marine because he was violent. I confirmed this through all her relatives and friends. After I left I gave her 600.00 to live on for 4-5 months, but she used it up in 2 months and recently asked for more money complaining she was sick. I didnt send her money, but told her sister to loan her money which I would pay back. She is my fiancee afterall. Here is a list of things Ive put togher, but still feel really guilty. Why I have a hard time trusting sophan 1. She said she had been to usa, california, hunting beach, worked there, paid taxes, etc... but did not 2. She said she had a job in usa but did not 3. She said she lived there 3 years bud did not 4. She said her daughter (adopted) was precious and didnt want to lose her because her mom will take her. She ended up giving up to her uncle/aunt who didnt have a daughter. 5. She didnt seemed to think much about her daughter when I was with her. 6. She has no drive to learn 7. She just wants to be taken care of. 8. I believe she lied about the old man who was suiting her. I think she had sex with him. 9. Why would he text her saying he love her and miss her. 10. She spends money so easily. I gave her 600.00 for 4 months. People there only make 50.00 a month. She said she spent it on Buddha at the shrine on food and gift for monks. Do I believe that? Kind of. We did go to a shrine before and her sister paid a lot of money for the temple gifts. 11. She lied about her friend in canada I think saying she was abused by her husband. 12. Cambodian government marriages tempoarily banned by foreginers. 13. Problems with her ex-husband made me come back to see her. 14. Wants to have a kid to hold me, wrong reason. Why I liked her: 1. Pretty 2. Good heart to people 3. Good in bed 4. Nice Body 5. Young 6. Sense of Humor 7. Social with people 8. confidence 9. Can cook great food!!! biggest plus! 10. Good family/siblings Why I feel sorry for her: 1. She was abused by her ex-husband 2. Cambodia is a poor country 3. No jobs worth doing. So, should I give her a second chance and get her the visa. Answer: shes not worth it she may be just using you find some one where you dont have to deal with those issues. you dont stay with some one because you feel sorry that would make your life miserable, find some one else.

I think she did do it. Ill give a few reasons why I think shes guilty: 1. Lizzie was the only one in the house when the murders took place. 2. Bridget Sullivan, the maid, was outside the house washing the windows when the murders took place. After she finished washing the windows, she came in and went to her room to take a nap. These were both proven to be true. 3. Emma Borden, Lizzies sister, was out of town when the murders took place. This was proven to be true. 4. John Morse, the Borden sisters uncle from their moms side, had gone to visit relatives when the murders took place. This was proven to be true. 5. Lizzie never had a consistent alibi. She kept changing her story every time. She placed herself in the barn looking for sinkers, under the tree outside her house eating pears, downstairs in the kitchen, or upstairs in her bedroom. 6. There was no sign of forced entry into the house by an intruder. It was extremely unlikely that someone broke into the house, committed the murders, and left without being seen by either Lizzie or Bridget. And if an intruder did commit the murders, then wouldnt he or she have killed Lizzie too? He or she wouldnt have wanted any witnesses. This was an inside job. 7. She had attempted to buy prussic acid, which is known as a deadly poison, the day before the murders. She claimed that she wanted to buy it to clean off a seal skin coat. The prussic acid could not do what she said it could. The store clerk refused to sell it to her. Her attempt to buy it shows murderous intent. 8. She was seen by her friend, Alice Russell, burning a blue dress 3 days after the murders. When asked why she was doing that, Lizzie claimed it had "brown stains" on it. It just so happens that brown is the color of dried blood. It seems like she really didnt want anyone to see what was on that dress. Was she getting rid of the evidence? If she really had nothing to hide, why was she in such a hurry to burn that dress? 9. It is very possible that she had 1 or 2 similar looking dresses that she changed into after she committed each murder. 10. Blood doesnt spurt from head wounds. It tends to leak. This is another possible explanation as to why there was no blood found on Lizzie. 11. The axe head with the missing handle, which was found in the basement and believed to be the murder weapon, matched the wounds on Abby and Andrew Borden. It was also covered with ashes. It looked like someone washed it off and tried to make it look like the other axes that were found in the basement. 12. Lizzie asked Bridget if she was going out that day. Bridget had told her no. Lizzie then informed her that there was a sale on fabric at the local store. She convinced Bridget to go out and buy some. This left her alone with Abby Borden. Did she send Bridget out so that she could kill Abby? It seems like she was giving herself enough time to commit the first murder. 13. Lizzie kept sending Bridget and the others to do errands after the bodies of Abby and Andrew Borden were discovered and before the police arrived. Isnt it strange that she wanted to be alone during that time if she knew that the murderer was still nearby or even worse, hiding somewhere in or near the house? Is it possible that she was giving herself time to get rid of any evidence before the police arrived? 14. Lizzie also claimed that she "didnt hear" Abbys body drop to the floor or in the guest room. Abby was an obese woman so surely her dropping dead to the floor would have made a sound or even the possibility of her screaming in pain as she was being hacked to death, which she most likely would have done. There were defensive wounds found on her hands which suggest she was trying to defend herself. There is no way Lizzie heard nothing unusual coming from the guest room. 15. Lizzie also claimed that she "didnt see" Abbys body lying on the floor in the guest room. The guest room is right by the stairs so it was easily noticeable and accessible. She claimed she walked up and down the stairs multiple times that day and the door to guest room was wide open that day so it would have been impossible for Lizzie to miss seeing Abby lying dead in the guestroom.
Answer: You did a good job of answering your own question! Anyone familiar with the case, ( and you are), can easily conclude she was guilty as sin. But, a jury of her peers, apparently, just couldn't bring themselves to believe a nice matronly lady from a respected family could brutally murder her parents with an AXE, so she was acquitted. So, if anyone asks you if you know of someone who got away with murder, you can say: 1- O.J. Simpson 2- Casey Anthony 3- Lizzie Borden At least in my opinion (and the public's)

Will my daughter hate me for the things I’ve done?

My baby girl is my entire world. She’s been the light at the end of the dark tunnel I call my life. Her father (my ex) and I became addicted to drugs when we were 14. We were on our own and couldn’t deal with the pain we had been through. My parents never loved me. My mother was very cruel to me and my father was too drunk to care. They would tell me every day of my life how much they hated me and wanted me dead. I even tried to kill myself and when I came home from the hospital my mother told me to “try harder next time.” The only times my father didn’t ignore me were when he was cursing at me or hitting me. I was the good girl. I was a remarkable student, did everything they asked, tried to be what they wanted and it was never enough. They told me they didn’t want me anymore and threw me out at 14. I went to stay with my ex but his life was no better than mine. His mother was a self-absorbed cold woman (much like my own) and his father was extremely abusive. The day we left, his father tried to rape me and my ex fought him off. They gave us money and told us to never come back and we had nowhere else to go (believe me when I say our parents were the good ones in our families). I feel very ashamed looking back. We went from skipping multiple grades in school to drug addicts in like no time. I got pregnant at 16. I couldn’t continue to hurt my body knowing she was inside me so I got my life back on track for her (2 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, and 5 days clean and sober). She’s the reason I’m in college and working, so I can give her a good life. I don’t want her to know these things about me. I want her to be proud of her me, not know that I was a junkie. The other thing is the situation with her father. I feel guilty that we’re not the family we should be. I ended the relationship when I was 4 months pregnant. He’s been there for me since I was 11 and that’s sort of a problem. I’ve always depended on him to be strong for me but I can’t do that anymore. I have to learn to stand on my own, you know? I can’t lean on him for the rest of my life. He’s been clean since she’s been born and is a wonderful father. I love him so much, but I have so many problems that I can’t be with him right now. He wants us to be a family but I can’t do that now. I feel horrible for giving him mixed signals. I tell him that’s it’s over and yet sometimes when he comes to visit her, we end up in bed. I know it’s wrong, but I love him so, so much. I just miss the bond and closeness we share. I miss being with him all the time. I haven’t told him that I still feel this way because I guess I want to become a better me before I can be with him again. My baby is only 2 but she’ll find this out one day and that terrifies me. I don’t want her to look at me and think I’m a total loser. I want her to be proud of me, but I can’t hide my past forever.
Answer: I'll start off by saying...you are an AMAZING person, okay? I completely and totally admire how you've pulled through all of the problems your family caused you. Do NOT be ashamed! Do NOT! After all you went through, I'm not surprised that you turned to drugs, but am surprised that you managed to pull through and attend college, keep a job, and raise a baby girl all at the same time! You must be so intelligent and hard working! I don't judge you at all, and I find it hard to believe that your own daughter will. Be a good mother, and raise her to be a woman as great as yourself!...But don't spoil her, because it sounds like you might, with you ranting about her that way :) Anyway, when you think she is old enough and mature enough, tell her about your past and how you overcame everything, all because you loved her so much! About the father, you can totally be with him and not completely depend on him, you know! He sounds like a great guy. Again, I admire you. You inspired me today. please, i dont want to hear any "omg! chill the worlds not gonna end" or "no body really now the true date" and whatever crap, ok im not completely afraid about 2010, most of me feels fascinated by this, from the predictions of nostradamus and the mayans to the Egyptians, the galaxies , the Spinxs and the zodiac i feel as if theres some thing missing, i love god and jesus i truly believe the bible and even though no specific date is set in the bible for Armageddon, i have looked into bible writings and stories related to 2010 and ive found a couple of things that caught my eye, ive heard that in the bible it specifically says that when the end of time comes jesus will be sent down to us and bring us al with him into heaven, and i have also heard that women will somehow not be able to give birth or get pregnant , and there was a story my aunt had told me about 2 young children in think she said they where Russian, and mother mary had appeared to the little girl and revealed to her 3 secrets of the world, 1 i think was one of the world wars, 2 9-11 i think and 3 the end of the world, the girl was taken to see the pope and told him what mary had told her and since that day those three secrets have been passed on to each new pope and god had told whoever the pope was at the time in a dream that when the time will come, he must reveal to the rest of the world their fate and so on please if anyone religious or if anyone is good with this kind of stuff can you please tell me what you know? about the words of the bible god jesus, etc about the worlds end and stories like the one i mentioned it would mean a lot to me if you shared , i just would like to find a safe comfort zone in all of this thank you very much
