If the Democrats retain control of the House or Senate how will you prevent FOUR MORE YEARS OF GRIDLOCK?
Answer: The only sure way to eliminate future gridlock is to abolish the filibuster. You still have all the protections of the constitution in place, any bill must be passed by both the House and Senate and then signed into law by the President.
Hopefully, the Democrats will regain their majority in the House and another super-majority in the Senate.

What would happen if 20 million illegal aliens left the USA? DO YOU AGREE?
In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupted hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominate language again.
* In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids—would move back “home,” mostly to Mexico. That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 BIL) annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.
* Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.
* Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop out/flunk out rate via thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado. Denver’s four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.
{snip}
* In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.
If 20 million illegal aliens returned “home”—
{snip}
No more push ‘1’ for Spanish or ‘2’ for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must content with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.
We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country. In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the “18th Street Gang” would vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!
Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens!
Drain on America’s economy; taxpayers harmed, employers get rich
{snip}
At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupted out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act. Americans wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country—brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.
{snip}
Over one million of Mexico’s poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California in what the New York Times called, “colonias” or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation. The New York Times reported them to be America’s new “Third World” inside our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I’ve seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it’s sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico.
High integrity, ethical invitation
We invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.
Answer: Well someone has definately done their research. And to an extent, I agree whole heartedly. I'm tired of spending billions upon billions on those that come here illegally while we have homeless AMERICANS living under bridges. It makes no sense. However, on the other side of that coin, there are those that do come here illegally that are not in the system, commit no crimes and work their buns off doing crap jobs that we refuse to do just to feed their families. Mexico offers little in the way of possibilities and I have nothing against someone trying to better themselves. It's sort of a double edged sword. Damned if we do, damed if we don't. Just think for a second about all the field workers, the factory workers, and the food service industry, motels/hotels, etc. Most of them are migrant workers. If we kicked them out, who would do the work? We have too many Americans on welfare who are use to getting their monthly checks for not working. Do you think they'd step up? Not likely. What would be the point for them?
I like the fact that you really put facts behind your question, and I agree with the concept; however, there has to be some sort of balance. We all have to live in one world, we might as well make it a peaceful one.
So if you were to say that all these illegals that are on the welfare system, and breaking laws, or sitting in jail should be deported, then you have my vote. I'd even say if you want to be American, go over to Iraq for 18 months, fight for our country, learn english, the plegde of allegiance to the American flag, and then you can earn citizenship. I just have a problem punishing everyone for a few bad apples.

Would it surprise voters if they found out that their beloved GOP has absolutely no interest in the people?
Running through an article--just a few minutes ago--on how badly the Democrats will lose and what the GOP plans for the next four years in Congress, I quickly discovered two things of interest:
1) The GOP intends on pushing Obamas current agenda farther to the right--than where it is now.
And if you need an example of what that might entail, think long and hard about what the GOP did for the last 12 years they were in Congress and multiply that by a factor of two.
In short? Nothing will get done over the next four years--just like nothing got done when the Democrats took over from 2006 to 2008; because of GOP interference and Bushs insistence that he wouldnt work with the new Congress either--vetoing everything possible that came across his desk.
2) Their agenda--which is no secret--is to turn back everything that Obama passed; virtually returning everything back to the way it was prior to 2009.
No banking reform, no health care reform, no immigration reform--even though thats on the docket next--no energy reform, and no campaign finance reform.
And since we all know that the process of writing up new legislation and trying to get it passed will take *months* and the likelihood of more partisan gridlock and Obamas vetoes...?
Will voters stand by and let this happen, or will they demand the GOP to start addressing the issues that are plaguing this nation still?
That being job creation and reducing the deficit?
Or...will they take a page from the Democratic playbook and not listen to the people? (As the right claims.)
It makes me wonder if anyone has a *clue* as to how these kinds of politics work: You spend 12 years being the bully on the block, someone knocks you down a peg, and the opposition starts being the bully--because of the abuse--and then people get fed up and knock that guy down a peg as well.
In short? The GOPs behavior is just a perfect mirror of the Democrats right now. The only thing is, is they think they know everything, they have all the answers, and when--and *if*--they get back into power, its going to be old home week once again.
NOTHING CHANGES.
Then things get screwed up even more and who will the Republicans blame then?
Themselves? Democrats? Obama? Liberals?
Answer: There's a huge difference between Democrats and Republicans. If you don't see it, you're not looking very hard. Republicans have used the filibuster far more than Democrats ever did. They've held up far more court appointees and acted just down right childish.
Over the past 30 years, Republicans have convinced much of the public that they should be grateful to the wealthy for their jobs. Republicans like to proclaim that without a rich investor there would be no jobs. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Without workers, there would be no wealthy. They have convinced us that expiration of a tax cut on the wealthiest 2% would be a job killer. The unwritten false conclusion is that when their taxes go back up to pre-2001 levels, jobs will cease to be created because the wealthy will hide their money in their mattresses instead of continuing to invest.

WHAT IF 20 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS VACATED AMERICA?
Over 80 percent of Americans demand secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million or more vacated America ? The answers may surprise you!
In California , if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico , it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupted hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominate language again.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop-out/flunk-out rate via thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado . Denver ’s four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.
In Florida , 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to America , the rule of law and English.
In Chicago , Illinois , 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.
If 20 million illegal aliens returned “home”:
If 20 million illegal aliens returned “home,” the U.S. economy would return to the rule of law. Employers would hire legal American citizens at a living wage. Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn’t be working off the books. That would result in an additional $401 billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local state and city coffers.
No more push ‘1′ for Spanish or ‘2′ for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must content with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens!
Drain on America ’s economy; taxpayers harmed, employers get rich:
Over $80 billion annually wouldn’t return to their home countries by cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which further drains America ’s economy – which currently suffers a $13 trillion debt.
At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California , Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupted out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act. Americans wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country-brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.
Our cities would see 20 million less people driving, polluting and grid locking our cities. It would also put the “progressives” on the horns of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11 percent of our greenhouse gases.
Over one million of Mexico ’s poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville , Texas to San Diego , California in what the New York Times called, “colonias” or new neighborhoods. The Book of Allegory?
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." (Revelation 13:16-17)
Take a moment with me to reflect on this prophecy, penned by the Apostle John sometime in the latter part of the 1st century. In Johns day, there were perhaps 200 million people living in the known world of the Roman Empire.
None of them had drivers licenses. There was no such thing as an identity card. There was no central database containing the names and addresses of the Empires citizens. There was no central banking system in place. There was no global economy, no Federal Reserve, no paper scrip, and no way to track either the movement or the economic activity of the general population.
In Johns day, such strict governmental control was utterly impossible. It would be more than eighteen hundred years before any of the elements necessary to fulfill Johns prophecy were even dreamed of, let alone invented.
It wasnt even possible fifty years ago. The global economy wasnt possible until Bell Labs invented the transistor chip in 1948, giving birth to the Computer Age.
And it wasnt until the mid-1960s that computers were sophisticated enough to begin to compile databases of a countrys citizens. And it wasnt until the early 1990s that it was even possible to track the movements of large segments of the population.
Now, look with me again at what John predicted. He predicted that the antichrist would have such detailed command and control that he would be able to restrict a persons ability to buy or sell unless they became part of his system.
That is one of the reasons that the Book of Revelation was always considered to be a book of symbols and allegory and not to be taken literally.
Martin Luther at first considered Revelation to be "neither apostolic nor prophetic" and stated that "Christ is neither taught nor known in it." The Book of the Revelation was the only book in the Scripture John Calvin didnt write a commentary on.
In the 4th century, St. John Chrysostom and other bishops argued against including this book in the New Testament canon, chiefly because of the difficulties of interpreting it and the danger for abuse.
Christians in Syria also reject it because of the Montanists heavy reliance on it. In the 9th century, it was included with the Apocalypse of Peter among "disputed" books in the Stichometry of St. Nicephorus, Patriarch of Constantinople.
In the end it was included in the accepted canon, although it remains the only book of the New Testament that is not read within the Divine Liturgy of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Traffic gridlock in Atlanta, Ga. has inspired two companies to develop a traffic monitoring system by tracking the cell phone signals inside cars.
By using anonymous data from wireless providers to mark how fast cell-phone handsets are moving — and overlaying that information with location data and maps — IntelliOne and AirSage hope to offer more detailed information and pragmatic advice than other firms that monitor traffic through radar, helicopters or cameras.
Both systems rely on wireless companies allowing them to process the data from their towers that calculate the position of each phone about twice a second when its being used and once every 30 seconds when its not.
IntelliOne, in business since 1999, uses technology that can track vehicles to within 330 feet without using Global Positioning System satellites.
AirSage has a similar strategy and has partnered with Sprint Nextel Corp. to offer government customers real-time traffic data.
The company already has four contracts with state transit departments and recently announced a plan with the Georgia Department of Transportation to extend traffic coverage between Atlanta and Macon.
It sounds like a good idea. Individual customers would be able to buy a single use or pay a monthly fee for personalized information and a service that sends alternate routes when traffic takes a turn for the worse.
But once the government has that data, it is up to the government how it wants to use it. Once the data begins to flow, the government will find all kinds of extra uses for it.
The Book of the Revelation used to be viewed as symbols and allegory because it was too high-tech to understand. It took two thousand years for us to catch up with it technologically.
To understand it in this generation, all one needs as a study guide is the morning newspaper.
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)
Answer: Good truth. We need more of this. Thanks.

EU in position to be world’s next superpower
by Andrew Reding
While U.S. media focus on Europe’s transition to the euro, Washington doesn’t seem to understand the full implication of a unified continent across the Atlantic.
The adoption of the euro by 12 European countries signals something far more important than anyone on this side of the Atlantic seems to realize.
Europe is gradually emerging as the world’s new superpower. Within a couple of decades, the European Union will equal—if not surpass—the United States as the dominant economic force on the world stage.
Consider the arithmetic. The U.S. dollar is used by about 285 million Americans. The euro is beginning to be used by 304 million Europeans with comparable levels of prosperity. When remaining EU members Great Britain, Sweden and Denmark join the euro zone, as now seems inevitable, that sum will rise to 378 million.
And that is just the beginning. Another 12 European countries are preparing to join the EU. Their accession in the next decade will bring the total to 483 million, in current figures.
Taking a longer view, Turkey, the Balkans and eventually Russia enter the picture. Turkey is already in a customs union with the EU, and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder is advocating bringing Russia into the fold.
For his part, Russian President Vladimir Putin is likewise tilting toward Europe. Russia is already a member of the Council of Europe. It is only a matter of time before it joins the EU. Together with the remaining holdouts, that will bring the total to roughly 800 million people in current terms, almost equal to the population of India or China.
But the EU is qualitatively different from India and China. It is enormously more prosperous and technologically advanced. It encompasses four of the Big Seven economic powers: Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy.
Geopolitically, it includes a unified Germany in further union with its historic rivals, France and Great Britain. Add Russia to the mix and the implications are mind-boggling. Never before has Europe been united through peaceful means. The emergence of the continental superpower raises the prospect of a union more formidable than the United States, stretching from the Atlantic across Eurasia to the Bering Sea.
So why aren’t we hearing more about it? Because Washington still doesn’t believe Europeans will be able to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers.
Yet border checks have vanished, so that crossing from one country to another is about as eventful as crossing a state line in the United States.
The EU already has a functioning parliament, courts, capital city, flag, license plates, passports and now a common currency.
Despite all of this, Washington still isn’t taking the EU all that seriously. Where, after all, is the European president? The current European executive has 15 heads, a recipe for gridlock that can only get worse with the admission of more countries.
But even that is about to change. The EU is convening a constitutional convention under former French President Valery Giscard d’Estaing to consider a federal structure with an elected president to complement the existing directly elected parliament.
Cynics will say that even so, Europe will never match the vitality and the commitment to freedom and free enterprise that has made the United States the world’s greatest-ever economic and technological powerhouse.
But all that is changing too. Europe now has its own bill of rights, and a court in Strasbourg, France, to enforce it. Just as tariff barriers are vanishing all across the continent, so are the national monopolies that have until now stifled competition. With a single currency, reduced telecommunications and transport costs and a market larger than the United States, vast new opportunities are opening up for free enterprise.
Already, there is a new dynamism in Europe. Futuristic rail lines are spreading across the continent, whisking intercity passengers at 185 m.p.h.
Cellphones are more ubiquitous than in the United States. And even Americans are now flying in Airbuses instead of Boeings.
And, if you think about it, the adoption of a common parliament, bill of rights, and currency by 12 nations with as many different languages is an even more audacious feat than the union of 13 English-speaking colonies a little more than two centuries ago.

So what should America do?
Answer: In order to compete effectively in the global economy, the U.S. has to rethink its economic and fiscal policies.
The U.S. is addicted to debt, both public and private. Our politicians think that our economy becomes stronger the more individuals spend on new cars, electronics and entertainment. Our infrastructure is falling apart and there is no political will to reconstruct it.
At the same time, what we have to export will not pay for our big appetite for consumption. Not much capital equipment is manufactured here anymore and we have become a "service economy." Other countries are surpassing us in technological innovation. Our kids don't like to study science and math, they are too busy with their sports schedules and dreams of signing multimillion dollar contracts with football or baseball team.
What should America do? First of all, the government should not bail out failing companies. Those companies should fail and Americans should realize we need to do things differently for our long term survival.

Does it really matter who wins this election?
It seems that half the country will still hate what the other half believes in, and congress will still be in gridlock. So realistically we are looking at four more years of nothing getting done. Is there any way to ever get someone elected that would actually represent a large majority of the people. It seems we are doomed to this 50-50 split forever, unless we split into two countries.
Answer: This is a good question because it depends upon how successful this person will be in getting anything done in our gridlocked nation. Certainly, they cannot accomplish goals alone. There is a continuing culture war. But if the elected president accomplishes the goals that they set aside in their campaign then that will restore faith in our legislative branch.
It would be easy to split into two countries if both countries could agree to disagree. Instead, both sides are trying to convert the other. If they outright rejected the other, then the issue would be to resolve on who gets what territory. Since the U.S. is a contigious landmass there would be a massive amount of bickering over how natural resources are being used or abused.
